Romulo Mucho

Romulo Mucho will present the Peruvian mining outlook with the escalation of metal prices on Tuesday June 12 in the Key Note Address for Innovation & Business Development.

Mining Engineer with studies abroad such as, Atlas Copco Scholarship in Sweden and other European countries, JICA Scholarship in Japan.

He won the Order of Peruvian Engineering, maximum distinction of the Colegio de Ingenieros del Peru, in addition he won the Presidents Citation Award from SME, Phoenix, Arizona, USA.

He has over 35 years’ experience, in the private sector in mining companies and experience in the State such as, President of INGEMMET (Geological Survey of Peru), Vice Minister of Mines, Congressman of the Republic of Peru.

He is a member of the SME (Society of Mining, Metallurgy and Exploration), ISEE (International Society of Explosives Engineers), PDAC (Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada), Geological Society of Peru, Institute of Mining Engineers of Peru, where he has been its president 2012 - 2014. Member of the International Organization Committee of World Mining Congress. Author of the book, PERU: PAIS AGROMINERO.

He is an international speaker, who in recent years has participated in EUROMINE 2016, Skelleftea, Sweden; WORLD MINING CONGRESS 2016 of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and SME ANNUAL MEETING in Denver, Colorado, USA. February 2017.
