Matti Sormunen

Mr Sormunen is currently acting as Senior Engineer at Mining Technology department at LKAB. He is experienced in mine planning and mine production in underground and open pit mining including different levels of feasibility studies. Mr Sormunen has more than 15 years with LKAB but has also worked for other mining companies and tunnelling contractors. At LKAB Mr Sormunen is tasked with study of future mining and possible underground mining methods for the Svappavaara deposits.
