Alan Martin

Alan Martin is an environmental scientist with 30 years of experience in mine-related environmental studies in North America, Europe, South America, Australia, Africa, and southeast Asia.  Having a strong background in geochemistry and water quality, Alan’s work is focused primarily in the mining sector in areas of mine waste management, water management, passive treatment and closure planning. In his capacity as a senior scientist, Alan has served as a senior reviewer and technical advisor on numerous mining-related projects, and has authored over 100 papers on mine-related studies. Alan has also served as a technical reviewer for several leading journals including Environmental Science and Technology, Applied Geochemistry, Water Research, and Environmental Pollution.
